Installing phpBB

Watch a Video Tutorial on installing a phpBB forum with SimpleScripts.

To install a phpBB forum using SimpleScripts, log into the cPanel and scroll down to the Software/Services category.

1. Click on the SimpleScripts icon.





2. Click on the phpBB icon.


3. Click the Install Now button.





4. Select the version of phpBB you would like to install.


5. Select the domain and folder where you would like it to install.





6. Unselect the Generate me an Administrator Login checkbox.


7. Enter an Admin Username along with a password.





8. Read the Script License Agreement and click the checkbox indicating that you agree to the terms and conditions.


9. Read the SimpleScripts Terms of Serivce and click the checkbox indicating that you agree with the Terms of Service.


10. Click the Complete button.

The script will take a few minutes to install. When it is done you will be presented with a confirmation screen with your Admin Username and password, along with links pertaining to your phpBB installation.
